I got out of my car, I was in the middle of the woods. I took a deep breath and looked around, I reached in my car and got my video camera. I made sure the battery was full then turned it on and started recording, I kept silent I wasn't much of a talker. I made my way towards Kate's house. Why she wanted me to bring the video camera, I didn't know, but I humored her request anyway. I was about halfway there, when I saw a car in the middle of the road. Was that CR's van? I looked at it closely, it seemed like it had been there for a while. It seemed abandoned almost. I hadn't seen CR in awhile, he was working on a project. Investigating the disappearance of a little boy and a mysterious fire, I think. But what was he doing here? I continued on down the road, and soon arrived at Kate's house. I sighed, remembering my childhood playing with Kate on the swings and the playground. I walked into the house, expecting to see Kate. But she wasn't there. Instead I saw weird drawings on the walls, everything was tipped over and wreaked. "Kate?" I called into the house, closing the door behind me. No answer. I walked over to the door to the living room, and something caught my eye. A note with the number one on it, sat on the shelf in the hallway. I picked it up and began to read. Hey Kate. It's been awhile since we last spoke, hasn't it? I hope you haven't forgotten about me! I know writing a letter is old fashioned but sometimes I just have to sit down and write something out, you know? So, I can't remember what I was doing at the time, but all this stuff we used to do when we were kids just came rushing back to me all of the sudden the other day. Remember when I would sneak over at night and we would go on our little adventures? Ghost hunting, we called it. We'd shine the flashlight through the trees and jump at every little insignificant noise. Our imaginations were always working in overdrive. I wish I could rewind back to then. Seems like everything after that time just hasn't been good. For both of us. - I paused reading and tried to make out a few sentences that had been scribbled out, but couldn't so I went back to reading. -Sorry, ignore all of that, I started rambling to much. Anyway, please let me hear from you soon. I know things have been less than normal for you lately, so I wanted to check in.-CR What a strange letter, What did he mean by 'less than normal'? Did he mean Kate's mother's passing recently? I shrugged and walked into the living room, finding a thank you letter from Kate, for helping her move. I adjusted my camera and continued through the house, pausing when I saw a flashlight sitting on the kitchen table. My mind flashed back to the letter I read, 'Ghost hunting, we called it.' It sent a shiver up my spine, and I eyed the portable light source. It was almost taunting me, telling me to grab it. I could practically hear children's voices giggling saying 'Come play with us!'. I gave in and grabbed it. I flicked it on and began searching for the keys to Kate's room, which was the only room not packed. I opened the door to the downstairs bathroom, and found another note sitting by the radio with a big number 2 written on it. This time it was a printed out Email instead of a hand written letter. My curiosity got the best of me, so I picked it up and began to read once again. Thanks for calling last night, it probably sounds dumb but it was good to hear your voice again. Good to hear that Lauren's been doing really well too. But, yeah, about what all we said: I'm not sure what to think of it yet. What are the odds of two people having the exact same hallucination? Could it really be just a coincidence? I have to go to my doctor today for some routine stuff so I'm going to try and casually bring this up and see what he says about it. I'll let you know how it goes. ---CR Hallucination? What hallucination? I shuddered, shrugged off the bad feeling I had and continued to look for the keys. I finally found them on Kate's mom's bed and walked to Kates room. I unlocked the door and walked into her room, it was a mess. papers were everywhere, her walls had weird messages and drawing on them. 'Can you see it?' was written in bold capitals above her desk. I looked on her desk, there was a paper with a simple massage, 'Go to the woods.' Suddenly an ear piercing shriek came from the woods, one I knew as Kate's. I rushed down the stairs and out the door. "Kate?!" I yelled, and yet again an answer never came. I looked around the outside of the house, again another note was found. A big red 3 on the front of it, I felt as though I had no choice and I read that one as well. Hey Kate. Both my computer and my phone have been acting weird lately so I figured I'd do it the old fashioned way again. Glad we could meet up and talk things through. I agree with what the doctor said, too. There's an explanation for this stuff. The shared traumatic event sounds most logical to me. That night out there in the woods is probably what caused it. I had almost completely blocked that out, but now it's kind of coming back to me. But like I said before, it's still really foggy. I think the best course of action right now is to just ignore it whenever you think you might be seeing things again. I'll try to do the same. that'll probably do the trick. -CR Was there a traumatic event? what was CR talking about? I couldn't dwell on that, I had to investigate that scream. I walked down a long path through the woods, until I got to a the lockers for where the pool was going to be. I stopped, because there on the desk was Kate's journal. It was opened to one specific page. 'Help, he was right, don't look, find CR.' I was thoroughly disturbed by what I read, what was wrong with Kate? And what did she get herself into? A/N: Hello my Lovelies. I bet your wondering "HEY WTF HAPPENED?!" Well I decided to rewrite this as the actual game. From Lauren's point of view, and go through the different stages of the game. I know I left out the voice mail, and the jump scare with Charlie. However adding those things would have made this a never ending chapter. But anyways I hope y'all enjoy! Sincerely Hattie the Heart Eater~ chapter 2, eight PAGES.I walked out the back door of the changing rooms, which lead me to the beach. The atmosphere was that of a horror movie. It was quiet, except for the sound of the waves washing on the shore. It was so dark I could barely see my camera, I was thankful that I still had the flashlight I had found in the house. Too my left was a small shack that held canoes, having no other choice mixed with the determination to find Kate, I headed too my left. I continued past the shack and towards the forest, started to hear whispering. However no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't figure out what they were saying. I shook my head, thinking my mind was playing tricks on me.
I continued deeper into the forest, eventually coming upon a map of the trails. On this board that held the map, seemed to be a piece of paper. I picked it up, turning it over to see if there was anything written on it. In what seemed like hurriedly sketched out writing, were the words 'HELP ME'. The note sent shivers down my spine. This must have been a stupid prank, right? I put the note in the messenger bag that I carried with me, along with the letters from CR. Once again I continued to walk, picking one of the trails on the map and following it. The trail seemed to lead me to what looked like the Park's management office. 'Perfect!' I thought. 'Maybe someone else heard the scream.' I picked up the pace, but as I got closer I knew something wasn't right. The doors were wide open, one had fallen off it's hinges. I carefully walked into the small building, being aware of the glass and nails on the floor. I walked over to a boarded up window, seeing another note. 'ALWAYS WATCHES NO EYES' Along with this message, was a circle with X's where eye's would be on a face. I shiver ran down my spine as I placed the note with the other things I had collected, my eye's drifted to the screen of my camera. For a moment the screen seemed to become static and a figure appeared, and just as quickly as it appeared it was gone. I ignored it, once again deluding myself into thinking my mind was playing tricks on me. I continued on, finding 4 more pages. These ones just had drawings on them, one of the trees, another of a tall faceless figure in the trees, another saying 'FOLLOWS', and the fourth the word 'NO' written repeatedly. I came upon abandoned cars, and campsites. 'What made them evacuate so hurriedly?' I wondered to myself. Many times I believed I saw a tall man, clad in a black tux with a red tie. His face seemed to be featureless, and colorless. Many times my camera made terrible error noises and the screen would go to static, if it didn't become static it would glitch out. 'It's just bad Wifi.' I kept telling myself, when I was fully aware that the camera didn't need a internet connection to work properly. I began to get random headaches, my vision would blur and it would be hard to breathe. I saw him again once I found a page with the words 'DON'T LOOK OR IT TAKES YOU', scrawled on it. He just appeared. He hadn't been there before. What did he want?! I ran as fast as I could, the tall man sometimes appearing in front of me. But I avoided him, and kept going. I made it to what looked like a radio signal tower, and once again I found a page. 'LEAVE ME ALONE' was what it said. I turned to look behind me, nothing. I slowly walked back towards where I came from, everything was eerily quiet. I had caught my breath, my head no longer hurt, my camera stopped going crazy. I felt relaxed, a sense of comfort washing over me. And then he was there, right in front of me. I screamed and ran as fast as I could. I don't remember what happened after that, except everything going black.

I have played all the way (Jacksepticeye reference) through Slender: The Arrival. This is basically a written version of the video game. Please note that I do NOT own Slender Man, or the video games and characters associated with him.
